How to use Lazy PA
The short version. Tell Lazy PA things — people you meet, promises you make, thoughts you’d otherwise lose. It remembers them, links them together, and hands them back when you ask. When it isn’t sure what you mean, it asks instead of guessing.
Getting in
Open lazy-pa.com in Safari (or any browser) and sign in. With a passkey you sign in with Face ID or your fingerprint — no password. Or choose Use a one-time email link: an email arrives with a sign-in button and a 6-digit code you can type instead.
Tell it things
Type in the box at the bottom, or tap the microphone and talk. Write the way you’d tell a friend:
- “Met Priya Shah at the school fair — she teaches art.”
- “Remind me to call the dentist tomorrow at 9.”
- “Dinner with Ana on Friday at 7.”
- “Start a project: garden renovation. Tomas is helping.”
Each reply says what it saved. Tap a bold name to open its card, where you can change a date, a time or a name yourself. The paperclip adds a document or a photo; everything you’ve saved is in the list on the left (on a phone, tap the tray icon at the top).
When it asks
Lazy PA asks rather than guesses. You’ll see questions like:
- “Ana Ruiz is new to me. Add as a new contact?” — tap Yes, or Not now to leave it out.
- “Is that Selin Kaya?” — when a name sounds like someone you already have.
- “Which event did you mean?” — when two things match.
Tap a choice, or just type your answer.
Ask it things
- “What do I know about Priya?”
- “What’s on this week?”
- “Which tasks are still open?”
Reminders
A task with a time reminds you at that time; a task with only a day reminds you at 9:00 that morning. An event reminds you 15 minutes before it starts. Reminders show in the app and, unless you turn it off, arrive by email too. Change all of this — or switch reminders off — in Settings → Interruptions. Settings is the gear: at the top right on a phone, at the bottom of the list on a computer.
Your data
Download everything or delete your account in Settings → Your data. What Lazy PA keeps and why is in the privacy policy.
Something wrong?
Tell us — it’s the most useful thing you can do in the beta. Use Settings → Help → Report a problem and say in your own words what happened; it reaches the person who runs Lazy PA. If the app shows “Something broke on my side”, that has already been recorded, and Reload usually gets you back in.
